Privacy Policy

LaunchPad Consulting (“we,” “us”) is a New Orleans consulting practice operated by Amy Berg. This policy covers launchpadconsulting.org, LaunchReview, our contact and booking forms, and related emails.

What we collect
- Contact and booking. Name, email, phone, organization, whether you are a nonprofit or a founder, and what you tell us about your funding needs. Booking also uses Zoom Scheduler.
- LaunchReview. Account details, plan, payment status, and the grant drafts and notes you upload so we can run a review.
- Payments. Squarespace Commerce and its payment processor collect card and billing information. We do not store full card numbers on this site.
- Site data. The host (Squarespace) may set cookies and collect standard log data such as browser type, pages viewed, and approximate location.
How we use it
We use this information to run LaunchReview, answer inquiries, book conversations, send receipts and service messages, improve the product, and meet legal or accounting duties. We do not sell your personal information. We do not sell your grant drafts.
Grant drafts and AI
Drafts you submit to LaunchReview are treated as confidential work product. We use them to generate your review and, on human-support plans, to have a person read them. We do not publish customer proposals, use them as marketing samples, or use them as exemplars for other customers without your written permission.
AI-only plans send your draft to third-party AI systems so the software can produce a review. See our AI Use and Limitations Disclosure and Data and Document Handling Policy.
Who else sees it
- Squarespace (website, forms, store, and hosting)
- The payment processor Squarespace uses for checkout
- Zoom, if you book a meeting
- AI processors, when you use an AI LaunchReview plan
- A human reviewer on AI + Human Review or AI + Human Writing plans
We share information when the law requires it, or if we need to protect the practice in a dispute. We do not share your drafts with other customers.
How long we keep it
Contact messages are kept as long as we need them to work with you. LaunchReview drafts and reviews are kept while your account is active and for a reasonable period after, so we can support you and keep records. You can ask us to delete a draft or close an account at Amy@LaunchPadConsulting.org. We may retain invoices and other records the law requires.
Your choices
Email us to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold, or to close a LaunchReview account. You can refuse non-essential cookies in your browser. Unsubscribing from marketing email, if we ever send it, will not stop receipts or service messages about a plan you paid for.
Children
This site and LaunchReview are for adults and organizations. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the effective date. Continued use of the site or LaunchReview after a change means you accept the updated policy.
