Privacy policy

LaunchPad Consulting (“we,” “us”) is a New Orleans consulting practice operated by Amy Berg. This policy covers launchpadconsulting.org, LaunchReview, our contact, booking, and upload forms, payments, and related emails.

What we collect
- Contact and booking. Name, email, phone, organization, whether you are a nonprofit or a founder, and what you tell us about your funding needs. Booking also uses Zoom Scheduler.
- LaunchReview. Your name, email, organization, plan, payment status, funder and deadline, and the grant drafts and notes you upload through our upload form so we can run a review.
- Payments. Stripe, our payment processor, collects card and billing information when you pay and sends your receipt. We do not store full card numbers.
- Site data. The host (Squarespace) may set cookies and collect standard log data such as browser type, pages viewed, and approximate location.
How we use it
We use this information to run LaunchReview, answer inquiries, book conversations, send receipts and service messages, improve the product, and meet legal or accounting duties. We do not sell your personal information. We do not sell your grant drafts.
Grant drafts and AI
Drafts you submit to LaunchReview are treated as confidential work product. We use them to generate your review. No person reads them, except to fix a problem with your order or upload. We do not publish customer proposals, use them as marketing samples, or use them as exemplars for other customers without your written permission.

Who else sees it
- Squarespace (website, contact form, and hosting)
- Stripe (payments and receipts)
- Tally (our upload form and the files you upload)
- Zoom, if you book a meeting
- AI processors, when we run your LaunchReview
We share information when the law requires it, or if we need to protect the practice in a dispute. We do not share your drafts with other customers.
How long we keep it
Contact messages are kept as long as we need them to work with you. LaunchReview drafts and reviews are kept while you are a LaunchReview customer and for a reasonable period after, so we can support you and keep records. You can ask us to delete a draft or your records at Amy@LaunchPadConsulting.org. We may retain invoices and other records the law requires.
Your choices
Email us to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold, or to cancel a LaunchReview subscription. You can refuse non-essential cookies in your browser. Unsubscribing from marketing email, if we ever send it, will not stop receipts or service messages about a plan you paid for.
Children
This site and LaunchReview are for adults and organizations. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the effective date. Continued use of the site or LaunchReview after a change means you accept the updated policy.
